The best time to snag a property is prior to completion because then you still have the developers attention. Most developers on Med-Saidia will write to a new property owner inviting them to visit the property to check for any faults and to sign for the property. In our experience it is almost inevitable that there will be issues. Some people have come over, written up pages of snags, believed the developer's promises that these will be rectified and then signed for the property - and the snags never got fixed.
Some developers give clients a very short time frame in which to snag the property. They also tend to give little notice before completion is expected. All of this can happen at a time when it is inconvenient for you to be away from family or work. Besides all that, you might never have done this before and don't know how to do this properly or know what to look for. There will also be a second visit needed to check that the remedial works you asked for have been carried out satisfactorily. Coming over to snag can quickly become costly given possible lost income, the cost of accomodation, flights and other unavoidable related expenses. It can also be a very stressful experience. I think you'll agree that it is a cost-effective idea to have someone else with the necessary experience and local knowledge do this chore on your behalf. SaidiaHolidayRentals has simplified the process for you

2 visits in total is the norm, but occasionally we have had to visit properties thrice. We do not charge extra for the repeat visits.
We have been snagging properties on Mediterrania-Saidia since 2007.
Please note: we do not get the developer to fix the snags - it is up to you, the property owner, to do so.
